Linda A. Hodge, 66, of Sycamore, died at 10:27 P.M.on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 11, 1955, in Tiffin, Ohio to Gaylord and Velma (Perrine) Firestone.  On June 20, 1981, she married Carl Hodge.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Hodge of Sycamore; children, Erika (Jason) Hill of New Riegel, Logan (Jody) Hodge of Harpster, and Tyler (Jessica) Hodge of Tiffin; two special grandsons, Liam Hodge and Lyncoln Hill; a bonus granddaughter, Melanie Barot; three brothers, Tony (Kim) Firestone of Tiffin, Steve (Bridgette) Firestone of GA and John (Rhonda) Firestone of Findlay; and three sisters, Robin Surface of Missouri, Pam (Robby) Baker and Bridget (Kody) Maynard, both of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gaylord Firestone; mother, Velma Powers; daughter, Courtney; and sisters Roxanne Askam, Diana Barrett and Christine Fourtner.

Linda worked for many years as a Nurse Aide before moving on to Farmland Foods in New Riegel, until she retired.  To Linda, her most important job was being a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was very proud of her family and loved being a grandmother, never missing an opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren.  She was very active in their lives, attending every school program and many baseball games.  Linda enjoyed taking care of her flower garden and watching birds, especially hummingbirds.

Her Funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon of Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Pastor Rex King officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Saturday at the funeral home.
