Llewella Mae Baker, 87, of Tiffin, died Monday evening, November 9, 2009, at her home.
December 3, 1921, she was born in Green Springs to Joseph L. and Ina F. (Freeze) Eberly. September 14, 1940, she married Wilber B. Baker in Greenup, KY.
Survivors include six children, Virginia Simpson of Billings, MO, Linda (Ed) Kilen of Fort Seneca, Ron (Sharon) Baker of Findlay, Kay (Jerry) Biller of Chandler, AZ, Kathy Baker of Mesa, AZ, Gregory Baker of Findlay, a sister, Marion White of Brookville, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband, Wilber, on January 20, 2007, are two brothers, Gordon Eberly and Robert Eberly and three sisters, Christine DeMole, Leah Margaret Martien and Pauline Boehler.
Llewella was a 1939 graduate of Old Fort High School. She was active in 4-H and Clinton Township Volunteers Fireman's Auxiliary. She farmed with her husband all her life and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Llewella liked playing cards with her card club, crocheting, traveling and was an avid reader.
There is no visitation.
Her Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church (Egbert's Church, corner of SR 101 & CR 38), with Rev. Barry Bordenkircher officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice Care, Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Dept. or a charity of the donor's choice.
