Lloyd F. Straub, 90, of Tiffin, passed away early Sunday morning, December 18, 2022, at Bridge Hospice at Wood County Hospital.

He was born on May 4, 1932, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Henry J. and Amelia (Klingshirn) Straub, Sr.  On November 7, 1959, he married Loretta M. Bradley.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta M. Straub of Tiffin; daughters, Kathryn (Gary) Lackey of NJ and Michelle (Tom) Wartenberg of DE; sister, Bernice Payne of Upper Sandusky; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gregory A. Straub; brothers, Charles, Robert, Henry, Jr., Donald, Albert, Clarence, Paul, Bill and John; sisters, Florence Creeger, Marie Kizer, Helen Brandal, Rosemary Huff and infant, Margaret Straub; and one grandchild.

Lloyd served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on December 11, 1952.  He was an electrician for over 30 years at Basic Refractories, later retiring.  He was a life member of the VFW Post 2858 and Tiffin Eagles #402.  Lloyd enjoyed golfing and playing in golf leagues, puzzles, playing cards, stamp collecting, history, playing on his iPad, teasing and joking with children, traveling with his family and was the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fan around.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.  Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home after the Service.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice, Findlay.
