Lois A. Bihn, 86, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at The Willows At Tiffin.

She was born on December 05, 1939, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Louis and Marjorie (Elchert) Herbert. On April 20, 1968, she married David Bihn and he preceded her in death on November 15, 2022.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony David (Heather) Bihn of Lansing, MI and Thomas Joseph Bihn of Norwalk; brother-in-law, Terry Nesselhauf of Tiffin; one granddaughter, Emily; and close friend, Joyce Taylor-Freeze.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Herbert and James Herbert; and sisters, Joan Nesselhauf and Janet Herbert.

Lois was a 1957 graduate of Calvert High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse at area nursing homes and doctor offices. Lois was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Red Hat Society and cousins’ club. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting afghans, traveling, card club, bingo, playing slots at the casino and loved going on trips with the Allen Eiry senior center.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Nurse Honor Guard service will take place at 12:15 P.M.
