Tiffin

Lois Lynn Phillips, 77, passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2026. “Loie” Phillips, Greenfield, Ohio, graduated in 1966, from Mohawk Schools.

Lois worked in many different careers, but her final and most cherished place of work was Secretary of the Tiffin Elks Lodge. She not only worked there for 10 plus years but attended the Lodge with her husband Terry. The two of them made so many life-long friendships with members there. They all shared so many drinks, laughs, and stories. To them, it was THEIR spot. Every Wednesday and Friday night, there Lois and Terry would be. So, to Lois, it wasn’t just work, but another place to call home.

Loie relished time with her family and grandchildren, spending days up at the lake in Port Clinton, shopping, maybe a little too much on Amazon, and simply just having conversations with her loved ones. Lois’ personality was selfless. In a way like any other. Always a listening ear, the conversations had with her were widely ranged. No matter what was said, she’d always have such good advice to give. If you came to her in sadness, she’d always find light in the darkness and filled many souls with cheer.

She gave the very best hugs, her smile always radiant, and her laughter infectious. Her role as a beloved wife, “mawmaw” to many, and mother filled her with joy and happiness.

Lois will be missed by her 3 children; daughter, Sara Rochester, of Tiffin; sons, David (Gail) Rochester, of Tiffin, Andrew Rochester, of Carey; grandchildren Adelynn Rochester, Olivia Rochester, Dylan Rochester, Tyler (Courtney) Rochester, Paige Rochester, and Liam Bohanan; sister Sandra Blair, of Benton.

She is preceded in death by her husband Terry Phillips, parents Robert “Bob” and Rebecca (Miller) Leeth, and brothers Joe and Rick Leeth.

Loie’s family will host a memorial for her on May 16, 2026, at 6:00 P.M., at the Tiffin Elks Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions and donations be made to Lois’ GoFundMe to support funeral expenses.

Condolences may be sent, and the guestbook signed at www.hgmackfuneralhome.com.
