Loretta Kathryn Lescallett, 90, passed away on Monday morning, November 11, 2013, at St. Francis Home.

She was born on March 10, 1923, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Lewis and Gladys (Barrick) Kimmet. On October 20, 1941 at Second Evangelical and Reform, she married George T. Lescallett and preceded her in death in 1971.

Survivors include 3 sons, George L. (Barb) Lescallett and Gary J. (Julia) Lescallett, both of Tiffin, and Geoff T. (Barbara) Lescallett, of New Riegel; 2 daughters, Linda Palenstrant of Fort Myers, FL and Lynette (Bill) Mangus of Crown City; brother, Leo (Ruth Ann) Kimmet of Lacarne; sister, Lois Ann Depippo, of Akron; son-in-law, Ron Oliver of Pensacola, FL; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, LaDonna Oliver in 1992; brother, Lewis Kimmet; sister-in-law, Audrey Kimmet; and 2 grandsons, Brett Lescallett and Brian Mohr.

Loretta graduated in 1941 from Tiffin Columbian High School and retired from Tiffin City Schools as a cafeteria worker after 20 years. She enjoyed the holidays, playing cards, reading and spending time with the family at the pond.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Rev. Frank Murd officiating. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Garden.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family from 4-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the funeral home.
