IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lou Ann
M. (Shultz) Arbogast
December 23, 2024
Angels are singing welcoming Lou Ann home to Heaven and into our Father's arms! At almost 92, she rested peacefully in her own home and bed knowing she was loved.
Lou Ann M Arbogast had a blessed life. She shared her heart with three husbands in her lifetime: Lester Ardner, Joseph Virkler (deceased) and Paul Arbogast (deceased). All honored military men. She treasured three children: David Ardner (who greeted her into heaven); Deb (Ardner) Weber (Don) and Nancy Virkler; four grandchildren, Drew (Michelle) Hersh, Liane (Matt) Roth, Katelyn (Chelsea) Weber and Matt Weber; along with four beautiful great-grandchildren, Olivia, Jack and Margo Roth, and Ozzie Hersh (who was waiting for her in Heaven).
Lou Ann lived a full life. She was a hard worker, resilient, stubborn, and a perfectionist. She worked at Tiffin Glasshouse. Then at 19 years of age she followed her husband to the Army taking pictures of soldiers being drafted. She later built, owned and operated Ardner's Rootbeer Stand and then the Candlelight Restaurant and Lounge on Route 100. Lou Ann helped start a local chapter of Hospice, along with a bereavement group at St Joe's church.
Lou Ann loved her family and friends. A good game of cards brought out her competitive spirit and lots of laughs. Her home, cooking, flowers and birds gave her joy and made her smile.
She was a life-time parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
In the past few years she grew a relationship with Jesus and found peace knowing and trusting in Him for her Salvation. (John 3:16 'For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.') Believe and follow Jesus.
Her Funeral Service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
