Louis Alvin Smith

August 26, 1954 - March 3, 2017

Louis Smith passed away early Friday morning, March 3, 2017 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He left behind the love of his life, Wanda Lanning.

Louis enjoyed camping, hiking, and pretty much everything outdoors. Most of all, he loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lester and Sylvia Smith and his brother, Dean Smith.

He had two sisters, Jo Ann (Smith) Taylor and Barbara Hicks and one brother, Lester Freeborn.

He had six nieces, Christine Fitch, Laura Phelps, Mary Johnson, Robin Marker Bennett, Teresa Marie Smith, and Legends and four nephews, Harold Dean Smith Jr., William Goley, David Goley and Jason Crowder.

Lorie and Harold Frost have been like a brother and sister to him and he loved them and thier son, Nevada Frost.

There will be a funeral service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to Hoffmann-Gottfried Mack Funeral Home and Crematory at 236 S. Washington St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883.
