Louise W. Buckley, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, November 24, 2010, at Seneca House.


She was born November 13, 1926, in Swan Creek, to William and Freda (Qualls) Waugh. She married Clarence Hively and they later divorced. She married Howard Homlar and he preceded her in death. She married Leon Shimp and he preceded her in death. She married Ernest 'Buck' Buckley June 25, 1993, in Gallipolis,and he died April 13, 2006.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husbands is a son, Roger Hively in 2007, and a sister, June Franklin.

Survivors include a son, Dennis (Patricia) Hively of Tiffin; a daughter, Deborah (Shawn) Thompson of Rising Sun; a brother, Kenneth Waugh of Crown City; four grandchildren, Kevin Hively, Randy Hively, Sean Hively and James Wagner; and five great-grandchildren, Alex, Colin, Lillian, Danielle and Elliott.

She previously worked at Clauss Cutlery in Fremont, was a past member of First Church of the Nazarene, Fremont, and a member of Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene, where she was very active. She was born in Swan Creek, moved to Gallipolis, then Fremont, and Florida for 25 years until she moved back to Tiffin in 2006. She enjoyed crafts, collecting angels, loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a member of Red Hat Society.

Graveside services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Oakwood Cemetery, 1225 Oakwood St., Fremont, with Pastor John Wildman officiating.

Her Funeral Service is 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Church of the Nazarene, 777 E. Clinton Twp. Road 201, Tiffin, with a luncheon to follow.

Memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice Care, Tiffin Church of the Nazarene or Seneca County Humane Society.
