Louise M. Davidson, 81, of Tiffin passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, February 17, 2012 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

On January 24, 1931 in Melmore, Ohio; she was born to Fred and Hazel (Campbell) Jacoby. She married Lawrence Roth in 1953 and he preceded her in death. She later married John B. Davidson in 1984 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1999.

Survivors include four grandsons, Joseph (Nicki) Roth of Bloomville; Brian (Sheree) Roth of Bellevue; Kenneth and Kyle Roth both of Republic; step sons, John B. (Deb) Davidson Jr. of Bloomville; Michael (Ann) Davidson, Ronald (Dawn) Davidson, and Tim (Joan) Davidson all of Tiffin; step daughter, Linda (Robert) Yeater of McCutchenville; 7 great grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and infant son, Steven Roth; son, Michael Roth; brothers, Theodore, Vernon, Earl, David, and George Jacoby; sisters, Marjorie Stark and Pearl Jacoby.

Louise was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society and a 1949 graduate of Melmore High School. She retired from Columbia Gas after 25 years and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. As Co-Owner of Lo-Jo Racing Stable, she enjoyed raising and racing harness horses. Louise also enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, and traveling with her husband John, especially their four trips to Ketchikan, Alaska and wintering in Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass.

There will be no visitation.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Bloomville Fire department or to a charity of the donor's choice.
