Lucille Marian Kerschner, 89, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday morning, August 6, 2015

She was born on January 12, 1926, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Louis A. and Protase A. (House) Walliser. On February 28, 1947, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, she married Lee Kerschner.

Survivors include her five daughters, Sr. Leanne "Nancy" Kerschner, O.S.F. of Lima, Georgette (Norman) Cook of Tiffin, Jean (Benjamin) Chaffee of Sycamore, Judy (Gary) Coppus and Sandy (Dick) Alford, both of Tiffin; two sisters, Donna Jean Willman of Attica and Patricia (Charles) Schreiner of Wadsorth; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee; two brothers, Richard D. Walliser and Clarence L. Walliser; sister, Maryann Kerschner-McCue; granddaughter, Michelle Chaffee; and great-grandson, Sebastian.

Lucille graduated in 1944 from Tiffin Calvert, was a licensed beautician and worked at American Standard for ten years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society, St. Francis Home Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #2858. Lucille was a volunteer for the Kiwanis Manor, St. Paul's Ecumenical Sharing Kitchen, Betty Jane Center, Allen Eiry Senior Center and the Red Cross, working at the Canteen.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 10, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 1:30 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to V.F.W. Post #2858, St. Francis Home, American Red Cross or St. Mary Catholic Church.
