Lucille Jane 'Lucy' Morton, 74, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at her home.

She was born June 9, 1936, in Tiffin, to Carl and Lillian (Close) Huth. She married Robert Morton January 9, 1954 in Tijuana, Mexico.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Robert; four daughters, Kandy (Paul) Sammet of Sycamore, Tina (Vernon 'Sam') Brown, and Gwen (Charlie) Wiseman, both of Tiffin; and Michelle (Timothy) Walker of Republic; three sisters, Esther Creeger of Tiffin; Marge (Dallas) Loroff of Castalia; and Thelma (Jim) Crawford of Fostoria; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents are three brothers, Robert, John and Carl Jr. Huth; two sisters, Helen Baker and Kate Geary; and two infant grandchildren.

Lucy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed ceramics and traveling. She was a loving wife and mother who made her family the center of her life. She liked spending time with her sisters.

Her Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 3, 2011, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. There will be no burial at this time.

Friends may visit with the family 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday, January 3, 2011, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.
