Mabel Irene Hellriegel, 92, of Tiffin and Fostoria, passed away Tuesday morning, February 18, 2014 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

She was born on August 3, 1921, on the family farm, south of Covington, IN, to Ralph R. and Vergie (Yerkes) Sheley.

Mabel worked at the old ASCS office in the Courthouse at Covington, IN for many years until her marriage to Charles Hellriegel on January 21, 1962 in Indiana and then they moved to Fostoria later that year. She was a member of the Rehoboth United Methodist Church near her home.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, Charles.

There will be graveside services at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington, IN at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
