Madelene Bolen, 56, of Attica, passed away Tuesday evening, August 30, 2016 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria.

She was born on September 12, 1959, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Birgus and Carrie (Thacker) Fitch. On September 24, 1977, she married Bud Bolen.

Survivors include her husband, Bud Bolen of Attica; five sons, Bud (Mindy) Bolen, Jr. of Sycamore, Ben (Destiny Prenzlin) Bolen, Daniel (Wendy) Bolen, Brandon (Caroline Whitmer) Bolen and Shaun (Bridgett) Bolen, all of Tiffin; three daughters, Danielle Stucky of Tiffin, Brittany (Brad) Clinger of Upper Sandusky and Megan (John Hamons) Bolen of Willard; two brothers, Benny Fitch and Birgus Fitch, both of Tiffin; six sisters, Linda Mesnard of Tiffin, Meg (Wayne) Gobel of Fostoria, Jewel (Eric) Striate of Oregon State, Patricia Flugga, Kathy Spradlin and Edna (Dave) Dodson, all of Tiffin; and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Carolyn S. Gibson.

Madelene worked at Marvin's Deli for years and also at B & B Foodmart, Tiffin. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to casino's.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at God's Lighthouse, 634 Miami Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
