Marcella Bookmyer, 93, of Boca Raton, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008.

Marcella was born Jan. 8, 1915, in Kenton, to Joseph and Minnie Bookmyer.

Survivors include two sisters, Jean Molino of Boca Raton and Beatrice Scales of Los Angeles; two brothers, Joe Bookmyer of Tiffin and Bernard Bookmyer of Saginaw, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and four siblings, Arleen Kisseberth, Mildred Beier, Roland Bookmyer and Joan Heyman.

Marcella was a graduate of McCutchenville High School and retired from United Airlines after more than 30 years. She loved watching horse races and watching her nephew, Don, race in them. She will be sadly missed by many.

Her memorial Mass is to be offered at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 19, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the mass. Burial will be 9:00 AM, Saturday, in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
