Marcellene J. "Marce" Harlett, 96, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday morning, March 20, 2016 at Independence House, Fostoria.

She was born on December 26, 1919 in Findlay, Ohio, to Edward and Gertrude (Campbell-Jones) Thiry. On September 2, 1940, she married Carl "Manfred" Harlett.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Harlett of Tiffin and Roselyn Schieda of Rocky River, Ohio; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Manfred; daughter, Janine Lortz; sister, Mary Liles; and granddaughter, Laura Keefe.

Marce graduated in 1937 from Findlay, Ohio and worked at Marathon Oil for 3 years. She married Manfred on September 2, 1940 and they moved to Tiffin. She worked for Dr. Drake for 14 years, was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society and belonged to their card flights for 45 years. Marce enjoyed walking at the mall, playing cards, fishing, watching soap operas and baking cookies.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
