Marcus F. Brown, 85, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday morning, November 22, 2025, at Independence House in Fostoria.
He was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky on January 26, 1940, to Robert and Angeline (Adams) Brown. On October 10, 1959, he married Mary Lou Nighswander; she precedes him in death.
Survivors include his sons, David Allen (Cheri) Brown, Michael Lee (Christina) Brown and Joel Eric (Patti) Brown, all of Fostoria; brothers, Billy Brown, of Westland, MI, Don Brown, of Tiffin, Robert "Jr." Brown, of Flat Rock, MI; eight grandchildren, Andrew Brown, Tyler Brown, Sunny Wildman, Michelle Bullock, Robert S. Bullock, Jr., Jonathan Michael Brown, Sarah Sadler and Megan Brown-Ruble; 28 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eugene Brown, Birdell Brown, Vernon Brown, Douglas Brown, infant John Brown; sisters, Dorothy Tyree, Evelinel Brown, Wilma Lee Frazier, Loretta Combs, and Pauline Caudill.
Marcus enjoyed running his barn sale, playing poker and spades, and especially, spending time with his family.
His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Pastor Roxie Roush officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice Care.
