Margaret M. Kapp, 101, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Stein Hospice in Sandusky.

She was born May 25, 1909, in Van Wert County,to Amiel Michael and Lodema Eugenia (Blackmore) Schaffner. She married Mervin Clark Kapp on December 25, 1928 in Van Wert.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet (Wade) Roby of Tiffin, two grandchildren, Brenda (Denny) Conzett of Grayling, MI; and Wade Eric Roby of Columbus; four great-grandchildren, eight great great-grandchildren all of Michigan; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death along with her parents, and husband of 45 years, Mervin; are four brothers and four sisters.

She was a very active member of Trinity United Church of Christ for 67 years and a longtime member of the Mother's Circle. She loved her family and friends, knitting, crocheting and traveling - a very complete and happy life.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Trinity United Church of Christ, 131 E. Perry St., Tiffin, with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family 9:30 - 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Trinity United Church of Christ.
