Obituary

Margaret Mary Kramer, 96, of Tiffin, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 04, 2025 at The Courtyard at Tiffin.

She was born in Tiffin on December 14, 1928 to Eugene and Estella (Maehlman) Kramer.

She attended St. Joseph Grade School, graduated from Calvert High School in 1946 and attended Tiffin University.  She was employed by the Ohio Fuel Gas Company (now Columbia Gas), then worked with her father at Kramer's Drug Store.  Upon his death, she became manager of Kramer's store.  After 8 years, she went to work at National Machinery for 22 years, retiring in 1991.

Margaret Mary became a member of Tiffin Alpha Iota Sorority in 1946 and continued as an alumnae member until 2013.  She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Rosary Altar Society, St. Francis Auxiliary, Allen Eiry Center, Josephine's, Legion of Mary and Calvert High School Alumni.  She was a former member of Thursday night golf league at Clinton Heights Golf Course, bowled with Catholic Bowling League until it disbanded and at one time played volleyball.  Margaret Mary was a former volunteer at the Ritz Theatre, St. Francis Home and Mercy Tiffin Hospital.  She enjoyed traveling and visiting all 50 states and 15 foreign countries.

Surviving are her nephews, Ron (Melissa) Kramer of Tiffin, Lawrence (Liz Yetzer) Kramer of Findlay, Robert (Misty) Kramer of Carey and Tom (Jennine) Kramer of Tiffin; nieces, Anne (Jim) Clifford of Brandon, FL, Barbara Kramer, widow of nephew, Jim Kramer of Reno, NV; 12 great nieces and nephews; and 16 great, great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Bill (Joan) Kramer and Robert (Clara) Kramer; and nephew, James Kramer.

There will be no visitation.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 07, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Community Hospice Care or to a charity of the donor' choice.
