Margaret Kathryn Metcalf, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 26, 2010 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

On July 2, 1928 in Seneca County she was born to Martin White Eagle and Ruth (Feasel) Bird. She married Willie G. Metcalf on October 30, 1981.

Survivors include her sons, Ralph (Beth) Caldwell, John Caldwell, and Denny Caldwell all of CA; James (Cheryl) Caldwell of Tiffin; daughter, Cheryl Caldwell of OH; Step sons, Bobby of Tiffin; Carl of Grafton, OH; Ronnie of Martin, KY; step daughter, Robin; sister in law, Pauline Bird of Tiffin; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willie in 2006; 2 step sons, a brother and 3 sisters.

Margaret was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she played in the Hand Bell Choir. She was a hostess at the Shawhan Hotel, enjoyed dancing, singing and was the biggest Elvis Presley fan.

A funeral service will be Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Katie Treadway officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 9:30-11:00 am at the funeral home.
