Margaret W. Snyder, 88, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away Tuesday morning, February 4, 2014 in Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

She was born on December 1, 1925, in Kansas, Ohio, to Dee and Julia (McDole) Lanning. She married William H. Snyder and he preceded her in death in 1986.

Survivors include her two sons, Steve (Elaine) Snyder of Newburgh, IN and Bruce Snyder of Blairsville, GA; and two grandchildren, Mark and Blake Snyder.

Margaret worked as a Quality Control Inspector at Honeywell and moved to Indiana in 2001. She enjoyed painting, embroidering and traveling.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Rex King officiating. Burial will follow in Kansas Cemetery, Kansas, Ohio.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the funeral home and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday morning.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
