Margie M. Boehler, 82, of Tiffin passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 15, 2011 at Elmwood at the Shawhan Assisted Living.

She was born May 28, 1929 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to George & Sylvia (Roe) Simons. She married Clarence R. Kipps on January 12, 1952 and he died in 1979. She later married Paul E. Boehler on May 5, 1985 and he survives.

Other survivors include her sons; Wayne Kipps & Larry (Robin) Kipps, both of Tiffin; two brothers; Joe (Bev) Simons of Tiffin and Howard (Sue) Simons of Sugar Creek, OH; three grandchildren; Greg, Kimberly and Michael and six great grandchildren; Casey, Gage, Kayla, Garrett, Logan and Ben.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband and sister; Georgia Heil.

Margie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Tiffin. She moved to Tiffin in the late 1940's and worked at the Tiffin State Hospital. She also worked at Sears and was a greeter at Walmart. She loved to take care of her family and enjoyed working with her flowers and cooking.

Her funeral will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Rev. Katie Treadway officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bloomville, Ohio.

Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Stein Hospice Care.
