Margy A. Wenner, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Monday afternoon June 4, 2018 at St. Francis Home.
She was born on July 8, 1935, in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio to Wayne A. and Dorothy (Hutchinson) Kimmel.
Survivors include her children, Terry Sager of Tiffin, Sharon (Ed) DeMonte of Tiffin, Kenneth (Lori) Wenner of Defiance and Paula (Joe) Flood of Florida; siblings, Don (Clarise) Kimmel of California, Gene (Barb) Kimmel of Findlay, Jim (Joanne) Kimmel of Tiffin and Della Lenhart of Tiffin; grandchildren, Aubrey (Joe) Wise of Tiffin, Antonio (Amanda) DeMonte of Tiffin, Mckenzie Wenner and Cassidy Wenner, both of Findlay and Jenna (Jim) Skidmore of Tiffin; great grandchildren, Aniya DeMonte, Bryn DeMonte, Wyatt Wise, Dylan Wise and Jimmy Skidmore; her other half and special companion, Richard "Dick" DeWald; extended family, Claudia, Jeff and Caroline; and her favorite pup, Teddy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Jeff Sager; and brother-in-law, Karl Lenhart.
Margy graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1953 and worked at General Electric for 20 years until it closed. She started her own cleaning service and worked until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ where she was a former council member, member of Trinity Women Together and helped organize for the Heritage Festival at the church.
Her memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Trinity United Church of Christ with Rev. Kurt Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service at the Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, St. Paul's Sharing Kitchen or Humane Society of Seneca County.
The family would like to thank the great staff at St. Francis Home with special thanks to Dan Welly.
