Marie Harriett Gaietto, 90, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday evening, November 15, 2012 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on February 12, 1922, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Martin and Bridget J. (Reinhart) Frisch. On August 24, 1946, in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, she married Bernard "Bernie" Thomas Gaietto and he passed away on May 19, 1995.

Survivors include 4 sons, John (Jeannette) Gaietto, Richard (Rose) Gaietto and Stephen (Cheri) Gaietto, all of Tiffin, Dennis (Nancy) Gaietto of Bloomville; daughter, Sandra Kesler of Tiffin; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Bernie; son-in-law, John P. Kesler in 2003; brothers, Carl, Alvin, Vincent, Herman, Phillip, Wilfred and infant brother, Elmer; and sister, Mildred Fosnaugh.

Marie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. During World War II, she worked at Camp Perry. Marie also worked at Nye's grocery store in Fostoria, volunteered for Meals on Wheels and worked in the St. Mary School cafeteria. Marie was devoted to her family; taking care of her husband for years and passing on her Christian faith to her children. She was always very positive. She enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards, putting together puzzles and working on crossword puzzles.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.

Friends may visit from 2-8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake service will begin at 1:30 P.M..

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Francis Home and Community Hospice Care.
