Marie C. Vera, 84, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Elmwood at the Shawhan.

She was born on April 05, 1940, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Richard and Louise (Ruffing) Zirger.  On April 30, 1957 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, she married the love of her life, Joe Vera.  He passed away on July 16, 2013.

Together they had five children, Christine (Michael) Mundschau, Mark (Becki) Vera of Buford, GA, Tony (Tina) Vera of Tucson, AZ, Jeanne (Bryan) Ardner of Garner, NC and Daniel (Marsha) Vera of Tiffin; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Vera; and her daughter, Christine in 2014

Marie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and sang in the choir and funeral choir.  Marie loved flower gardening, being outdoors, ice cream and most of all being with her family.

A Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at St. Francis Convent with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  A luncheon will follow in the Upper Room at the St. Joseph Activity Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Focus on the Family or to a charity of the donor's choice.
