Obituary

Marisa E. Paulus, 23, of Cincinnati, died Sunday, December 28, 2008, at her residence.

May 25, 1985, she was born in Fostoria to Anthony and Pamela (Wells) Paulus.

Survivors include her parents, Tony and Pamela of Tiffin, two brothers, Bennett Paulus, of Tiffin, Gino (Liz Parobek)Paulus of Lakewood, maternal grandparents Joe and Betty Wells of Findlay, aunts and uncles, 'her second mom' Paula Oman (Martin) Windstein of Findlay, Bette Hammer, Thomas (Kathryn) Wells, Jacki Wells, Dan Paulus, all of Findlay, Michelle (David) Franz of Springboro, Charise Hall of Tiffin, many cousins and friends in Cincinnati.

Preceding her in death is her paternal grandparents, John and Michaelina Paulus.

Marisa was a 2003 graduate of Calvert High School and moved to Cincinnati in 2007 to be a full time student at Cincinnati State, studying psychology. She worked at TGIFriday in Cincinnati and TPC Food Services when she was home. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and loved her dog Boo and singing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 3, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family 3-8 PM, Friday, January 2, 2009, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 3450 W. Central Ave. Ste. 256, Toledo, 43606.
