Obituary

Marjorie Lucille Fourtner, 90, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, December 24, 2014 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on February 4, 1924, in Chicago, IL, to Henry Arnold and Evelyn Marie (Warner) Graf. On February 26, 1946, she married Anthony F. Fourtner and he preceded her in death in 1957.

Survivors include her son, Thomas (Christine) Fourtner of Bloomville; sisters, Delores (George) Blitva of Tiffin; Jean Jennings of Findlay; six grandchildren, Eric Fourtner, Tara Shoemaker, Michael, Bradley, Anthony III, and Kevin Fourtner and 10 great grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, son, Anthony Fourtner, Jr.; and a brother, Bud Graf.

Marjorie was a member and volunteer at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ and served stateside in the U.S. Army during WWII as a nursing aid from 1944 to 1946 and retired as a Surgical Tech. from Mercy Tiffin Hospital after 21 years. Marjorie enjoyed baking, needlepoint, and spoiling her family. In 2013 for 3 weeks, she traveled west with her son and daughter in law visiting many National Parks and her husband's grave in Montana.

Marjorie requested anatomical donation to Ohio University. There will be no services at this time. Burial will take place later in Fairmont Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, St. Francis Home, and Bridge Hospice.
