Marlene Philbrook, 73, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday evening, August 6, 2014 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born on January 10, 1941 in Wooster, Ohio, to Paul H. and Laura E. (Price) Holderman. On March 2, 1963, she married Harold "Hal" Philbrook.
Survivors include her husband, Hal; son, Michael (Trisha) Philbrook of Cardington; daughter, Lorra Huffman of Gallipolis; brother, Ryan Holderman of Lebanon; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Bonnie Holderman.
Marlene was a member of Faith United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was the owner of Baskin-Robbins in the Tiffin Mall. She served on the Toledo girl scouts of Maumee Valley council for eight years and enjoyed crafts, reading and genealogy.
Her funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Rev. Jeff Lanzer officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
