Martha L. 'Marty' Musgrave, 84, of Melmore St., Tiffin, died 3:15 AM Sunday, November 2, 2008, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo.
January 4, 1924, she was born in Tiffin to F. Paul and Helen Marie (Bauer) Scheiber. October 11, 1947, she married Harold E. Musgrave.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Musgrave of Tiffin, Stephen (Regina) Musgrave of Painesville, a daughter, Patricia (Paul) Berman of Tiffin, two granddaughters, Christine Ward and Jennifer Berman, two great-granddaughters, Cheyenne and Tyler Ward.
Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband, Harold on April 7, 1993, are two sisters, Dorothy Suvain, Rosemary Weiss, three brothers, John Paul and Frederick 'Fritz' Scheiber.
Martha was a 1941 graduate of Calvert High School. Marty was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she volunteered for various jobs, including the library. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Rosary Altar Society and Mother's Study Club.
She was treasurer for St. Francis Home Auxiliary for over 30 years. Marty was an avid bowler for the Ladies Knights Bowling League at the Knights of Columbus, TAB League at Heritage Lanes. She was a member of a card club of friends that met monthly for over 40 years. Mrs. Musgrave had worked many years as a bookkeeper at Tiffin Manufacturing Company owned by her family. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years and was always available to help her friends, family, parish or organizations whenever asked.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, November 6, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka and Rev. John Blaser con-celebrating. A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424. A Christian wake service will be 1:45 PM.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Francis Home Auxiliary, St. Joseph Tuition Assistance Fund, F.A.C.T., or a charity of the donor's choice.
