Martha F. Schriner, 73, of Tiffin, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at her home.

October 29, 1935, she was born in New Riegel to Herman and Adeline (Zoeller) Reinbolt. She married Walter A. Schriner October 26, 1963, at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Mark (Donna) Schriner of Republic; a daughter, Karen (Warren) Long of Findlay; two sisters, Kate Pinkston and Mary (Ron) Schriner, both of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Joshua, Michaela and Erin Long, three step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband, Walt, on October 16, 2008, is a brother, Arthur Reinbolt.

Martha graduated from New Riegel High School in 1953 and from St. Vincent School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and volunteered at the United Way. She was a registered nurse at Tiffin Developmental Center in 1957, retiring in November, 1990, after 33 years of service. Martha enjoyed traveling, playing cards and bingo. She and her husband wintered in Dundee, Florida for 13 years, where she worked at St. Matthews Church Thrift Shop. She had many friends and enjoyed taking care of everyone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Monday, October 19, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family 5-7 PM, Sunday, October 18, 2009, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The United Way of Tiffin.
