Obituary

Marvin R. Fogle Sr., 86, of Tiffin, died Thursday afternoon, September 16, 2009, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

January 29, 1923, he was born in Whiteville to James W. and Zelda H. (Marry) Fogle. April 26, 1942, he married Helen May Bloom.

Survivors include two sons, Marvin Jr. (Alicia) Fogle of McAllan, TX, David (Elizabeth) Fogle of Sidney, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death along with his parents, is his wife, Helen, on March 24, 2008, three brothers, Harold, James and Glenn, and two sisters, Pauline Rush and Donna Degroff.

Marvin was a graduate of North Baltimore High School and a member of Fort Seneca United Church of Christ. He proudly served in the US Army from1943-1946, during WWII. He worked 28 years at National Machinery, retiring January 1984, and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed yard work, fishing and camping.

His Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, September 21, 2009, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, with Rev. Barry Bordenkircher officiating. Burial will be 1:00 PM, Monday, in Bethel Cemetery, North Baltimore.
