Mary L. Reiter-Bernard, 75, of Tiffin passed away suddenly Sunday morning, February 5, 2012 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

On May 16, 1936 in Tiffin, she was born to Clifford W. and Louise (Smith) Smith. She married Norbert J. Reiter on September 26, 1960 and he preceded her in death in 1984. She later married Charles A. Bernard on October 3, 1990 and he preceded her in death in 1999.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Pam Reiter of Green Springs; Anna Reiter and Sarah Reiter both of Tiffin; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and five brothers.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, a son, Joseph "Jess" Reiter and a great grandchild, Mickayla Nicole Reinhart.

Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed playing bingo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the mass. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory. A Wake service will begin at 1:30 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
