Mary Florence Brose, 86, passed away Tuesday morning, October 11, 2011 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on August 15, 1925 in Seneca County to Alvin & Regina (Hoover) Depinet. She married Virgil J. Brose on June 5, 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1995.

Surviving are sons; Bill (Karen) Brose of New Riegel, OH and Bob (Linda) Brose of Tiffin, OH; daughters, Linda (Dave) Walter of West Millgrove, OH and Debra (Dave) Earl of Tiffin, OH; brothers; Dick (Rosie) Depinet of Republic, OH, Paul (Jane) Depinet and Joe (Pat) Depinet all of Tiffin, OH; sisters; Alma (Bob) Brandt of Bascom, OH and Rita (Gene) Brown of Tiffin, OH; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Robert Depinet and sisters, Kathy Kimble and Ruth Schreiner.

Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a past Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed camping, quilting, baking, traveling and making candy. She traveled to Europe three times and was involved in the support group for Desert Storm. Mary loved being a grandmother and a great grandmother.

A mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 14, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Garden Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass.

Friends may visit with the family Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419)447-2424. A Christian Wake service will begin at 1:30 pm.
