Mary Louise Fitch, 85, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday morning, October 8, 2015 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on September 16, 1930, in Bloomville, Ohio, to Chester and Mable (Schiley) Lofton. On October 27, 1947, she married Arlen Fitch and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1984.

Survivors include her five sons, James Fitch, David (Roxanne) Fitch, Charles (Cindy) Fitch, Walter (Stephanie) Fitch and Mark (Angie) Fitch, all of Tiffin; two daughters, Carol Barnett and Rebecca (Chip) Creeger, both of Tiffin; two brothers, Dalton Lofton of Bedford, KY and her twin brother, Mervin Lofton of Tiffin; two sisters, Clara Belle Cantrell and Joyce Runion, both of Tiffin; 28 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Lois Jean Fitch; son-in-law, Ed Barnett; and two brothers, Charles Lofton and Ray Lofton.

Mary enjoyed needlepoint, embroidery, fishing, baking and tending to her garden. Her family was very important to her.

Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Clifford Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in Sandridge Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-6:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
