Mary L. Huffman, 80, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday evening, April 27, 2014 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

She was born on September 22, 1933, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Theodore and Martha (Reinhart) Braciak. She married George G. Huffman and he preceded her in death on August 22, 1997.

Survivors include her 3 sons, Christopher Huffman and Jeffery (Jessica D.) Huffman, both of Tiffin and Johnathan (Rebecca) Huffman of Sandusky; 6 grandchildren, Beau Shaffer, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Jena, Joe and Joshua Huffman; 2 great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Harold (Marylou) Braciak of Bascom.

Also preceding her in death were her parents.

Mary graduated Salutatorian in 1951 from Melmore High School, was the business manager at St. Mary Catholic Church from 1985 to 1992 and sold real estate for Felter for 11 years. She was on the treasurer council for retarded children at the beginning of the School of Opportunity for 9 years, was the director of St. Vincent de Paul in Tiffin since 1981, was a board member of Toledo St. Vincent de Paul for 25 years and was the Diocese of Toledo president for St. Vincent de Paul. She was also was an antique dealer and served as a court appointed guardian for various persons. Mary enjoyed helping other people.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters and Rev. Ray Ensman con-celebrating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A St. Vincent de Paul Vincentian Wake Service will begin at 8:00 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul of Tiffin, St. Mary Catholic Church or Stein Hospice.
