Mary Ruby Krause, 78, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, January 3, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born on April 10, 1936, in Lorain, Ohio, to William and Ruby (Wolrey) Borer. On July 24, 1954, she married Roy R. Krause and they later divorced.
Survivors include her sons, John (Lora) Krause of Tiffin and Robert Krause of Houston, TX; 4 daughters, Christine (Albert) Eckel of Tiffin, Kathleen (James) Butzier of Delaware, Tina (Kenneth) Edler of Upper Sandusky and Victoria (Peter) Siegle of Clyde; brothers, William and Joseph Borer both of Sheffield Lake, OH; Tom (Barbara) Borer of Avon, OH; Ray (Barb) Borer and John Borer both of Arizona; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a special friend, Charles Falter of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Frederick Borer.
Mary will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed Crossword Puzzles, reading, traveling especially to Alaska, playing cards, visiting with her friends at Frisch's Big Boy, drinking Pepsi and loved Elvis Presley. With her kind heart and great sense of humor, Mary had many good friends.
Her funeral service will be at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tress Reed officiating.
Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 11:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
