Mary J. Panuto, 93, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on July 9, 1927, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Antonio and Francesa (Martorana) Latona.  On April 12, 1947, in St. Mary Catholic Church, she married John A. Panuto and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1993.

Survivors include her four sons, Paul (Carolyn) Panuto and Anthony (Debbie) Panuto, both of Tiffin, Dr. John Panuto of Avon Lake and Michael (Heather) Panuto of Tiffin; daughter, Antoinette Parkhurst of Clyde; brother, Albert Latona of Tiffin; sister, Joanna Borer of Tiffin; eight grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one expected in January; and two step great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Dave Parkhurst; and sister, Joanna Latona as child.

Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and their Altar Rosary Society.  She enjoyed cooking, baking for festivals, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Rader and Rev. Gary Walters con-celebrating.  The Mass will be livestreamed at https://www.stmarychurch.com .   A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
