Obituary

Mary Lou Wilson, 75, of Tiffin, died unexpectedly February 8, 2009 at her residence.



Born April 4, 1933 to Charles and Eleanora (Albert) Dedrick in Tiffin. She married Robert F. Wilson on July 12, 1953. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents.



Mary Lou is survived by her daughter Deborah (Deion) Fortney of Tiffin; and her son, Charles (Alicia) Wilson of Findlay. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Paul (Kendullin) Fortney, Melissa (Nate) Buskirk and Kimberly Fortney all of Tiffin; Scott and Jessica Wilson of Findlay and six great grandchildren; Sydney, Maximus and Addison Fortney, Robyn and Lillawyn Buskirk and Daxton Krohn all of Tiffin.



Mary Lou was a 1951 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and attended Heidelberg College. She was a fifty year member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where she served on the Board of Trustees, the Finance and Memorial Committees and as church secretary for 23 years. She was a fifty year member and Past Matron of Tiffin Chapter 189, Order of the Eastern Star and also a member of the Social Order of the Beauceant in Findlay and Tiffin Knights Templar Ladies Club. She served as Seneca County Grand and Petit Jury Commissioner for over fifty years. She loved her volunteer work at Mobile meals, St. Paul's Sharing Kitchen and Greenlawn Cemetery.



Her favorite pastimes include camping at Clinton Lake Campground, following her favorite sports teams, especially football, traveling, baking, and spending time with her many friends and family.



A Funeral Service will be Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tiffin with Rev. Gary Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.



Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Eastern Star and Beauceant Services at 7:45 PM. Friends may also visit at the church on Friday from 10-11 AM.



Memorial contributions may be made to the Bob and Mary Lou Wilson Memorial Scholarship Fund, C/O Terra College Foundation, 2830 Napoleon Rd, Fremont, OH 43420 or the sharing kitchen of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, or to a charity of the donor's choice
