Mary Maxine Mizen, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday evening, June 1, 2013 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.
She was born on November 20, 1930, in Greenfield, Indiana, to Richard and Mary (Olvey) Richey. On December 13, 1947, in Tiffin, Ohio, she married Eugene Mizen Sr. and he still survives.
Also surviving include her three sons, Eugene (Barbara) Mizen Jr., Richard (Connie) Mizen, and Michael (Megan) Mizen all of Tiffin; three daughters, Janice Eileen Agerter of Ocala FL, Marsha K Biller and Lynette Biller both of Tiffin; three brothers, John Richey of CO, Richard Richey of Tiffin, and Ralph Richey of Fremont; two sisters, Barbara Yentzer, and Deloris Sanderson both of Tiffin; ten grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron Richey; two sisters, Lucille Niebert and Ida Dunn.
Mary worked at GE and ITT for many years and 1 Hour Martinizing Dry Cleaning in Tiffin. She was owner Three Oaks Tavern with her husband for over 15 years from 1980-1995. Mary was a NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan, enjoyed traveling and camping and was a great cook. She also loved trips with her sister and her family meant everything to her.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Rev. Donna Van Trees officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Garden.
Friends may visit and share stories from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a local Hospice of donor's choice or SCAT.
