Mary E. McEntire, 90, of Tiffin, died Thursday evening, November 13, 2008, at her home.

On March 28, 1918, she was born in Tiffin, to Ernest Sr. and Florence (Blackwell) Hill. January 28, 1949, she married Neal F. McEntire in Minister Church of Christ in Tiffin.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathie (DJ) Wagner of Tiffin; step son, Joseph A. McEntire of Mohment IL, step daughter, Ancilla Armstrong of GA; brother, Ernest Jr. (Muriel) Hill of Tiffin; 3 grandchildren, Derek J. (Sulema) Wagner and Dameion J. (Erin) Wagner, both of Columbus; Nealy E. (Brent Smith) Wagner of Bellevue, five grandchildren, Jacob Charles Lund, Jordan Wagner, Hanna Smith, Madysen Smith and Lillian Wagner.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband, Neal, are an infant daughter, Marilee McEntire, a son, Richard Wetherill and a brother, Robert Hill.

Mary was a 1936 graduate of Columbian High School. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and loved her animals, especially her cat "Stone". She was a great pie baker, sharing them with everyone and was always willing to help anyone.

Her wishes were to be cremated with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date.
