Obituary

Mary S. Miller, 89, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 23, 2009 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

On May 26, 1920 in Reed Township, she was born to Charles J. and Christina M. (Gerber) Kramer. She married Clifford G. Miller February 18, 1939 in St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Larry (Denise) Miller of Tiffin; daughters, Joyce M. Myers of Tiffin; Esther J. (Richard) Benbow of Anaheim, CA; Nancy K. (Michael) Heydinger of Bucyrus; brother, Thomas (Louise) Kramer of New Riegel; sisters, Doris Roepke of Castro Valley, CA; Alice Engle of Naneut,NY; Joan (William) Stransky of Houston, TX; Stephanie (James) Rodrigus of Houston, TX; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a sister in law, Sandy Miller of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford in 1977, sons, Donald E. Miller in 2003 and Dennis A. Miller in 1967, brother, Frederick Kramer, sisters, Lois Boltz, Stella Carver, a granddaughter, and 2 great granddaughters.

Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and retired from General Electric in 1985 after 28 years. She was a member of the GEWOTS, GE Retirees, Tiffin Moose Lodge #846, Eagles Aerie #402 and enjoyed cooking, sewing, canning, Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass.

Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, 419-447-2424. A Christian Wake service will be at 1:45PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care, Seneca County Habitat for Humanity, Mercy Tiffin Hospital Nursery.
