Mary Lou Brown, 93, of Fostoria, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 01, 2025 at Independence House, Fostoria.

She was born on September 04, 1932, in Seneca County to Ralph W. and Mary Ethel (Feasel) Nighswander.  On October 10, 1959, in Whitesburg, KY, she married Marcus Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Marcus Brown of Fostoria; sons, David Allen (Cheri) Brown, Michael Lee (Christina) Brown and Joel Eric (Patti) Brown, all of Fostoria; eight grandchildren, Andrew Brown, Tyler Brown, Sunny Wildman, Michelle Bullock, Robert S. Bullock, Jr., Jonathan Michael Brown, Sarah Sadler and Megan Brown-Ruble;  28 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Maurice Nighswander; and sisters, Annabelle Shaull, Bernita Tippin and Joan Lloyd.

Mary Lou was a 1950 graduate of Old Fort High School.  She was a homemaker and worked at Tiffin Glass for nine years.  Mary Lou enjoyed gardening and her flowers and she loved playing cards.  Her greatest love was being a mother and grandmother.

Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 07, 2025 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 with Pastor Roxie Roush officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
