Mary M. Overton, 64, of St. Petersburg, FL and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 as a result of an auto accident.

On February 19, 1946 in Detroit, MI she was born to Robert H. and Loretta A. (Senay) MacDonald. She married Ronald G. Overton in October 1978 in Los Angeles.

Survivors include her mother, Loretta of St. Petersburg; daughters, Jeanine Overton and Patricia Overton; sisters, Elizabeth (Richard) Schlacter of St. Petersburg; Eva Mae Overton of California; Bea (Bill) Stein of Tiffin; brothers, Father Richard MacDonald, SCJ of Texas; Norman MacDonald of California; and James (Patricia) MacDonald of Canada.

She was preceded in death by her father; Robert; husband, Ronald; and brother, Robert MacDonald.

Mary was raised in Flat Rock, OH and graduated from St. Francis Convent School in 1964. She lived in Los Angeles and later moved to St. Petersburg in 1990. Mary worked for the Pinellas County Schools as a baker for 10 years. She always went out of her way to help others, including donating her organs to those in need.
