Mary J. Gordon, 67, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, December 06, 2025, in the Emergency Room at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

On June 06, 1958, in Tiffin, she was born to Lewis R. and Florence R. (Reiter) Ringle.  She married Kevin Gordon on July 24, 2004.

Mary is survived by her husband, Kevin of 21 years; daughters, Michelle (Sayyid) Abdulrauf of Tiffin; Mindy (Samuel) Swartz of Fostoria; son, Mark (Christina) Walland of Clyde; step daughters, Nicole Gordon of Findlay; Danielle Gordon of Kenton; Jessica Gordon (Paul Striff) of Bloomdale; sister, Susan Rogers of Tiffin; brothers, John (Terrie) Ringle of Morral; Paul Ringle of Fostoria; Brian (Kindra) Ringle of Tiffin; 19 grandchildren, one great grandchild and her dog, Tilly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law, Gloria Smith, and a step daughter, Sharia Gordon.

Mary was a member of First Christian Church and a 1976 graduate of Mohawk High School, 1977 from Tiffin Hair Academy, and 1990 from Tri-Rivers Vocational Center.  She has been a licensed practical nurse at Autumnwood Care Center for over 19 years, Good Shepherd Home and most recently at Elmwood at the Shawhan.  Over the years, she volunteered for the Tiffin-Seneca Heritage Festival and Relay for Life.  She was a huge sports fan, following The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers, Browns.  She was a bigger fan of Heart of Ohio Sports, where she could catch all the area high school games.  Mary found joy in traveling with her husband, gardening and raising her chickens but she loved spoiling her grandchildren, attending their events and being the best Grammie.

Her funeral will be Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at First Christian Church with Rev. Doug DeVos officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 1-4 pm at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory and on Monday at the church from 10-11 am.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, to your local high school athletic booster,or a local nursing home for activities.
