(Robenalt) Sendelbach

Mary Sendelbach, 94, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at her home, surrounded by family.
She was born on May 16, 1930, in Tiffin, Ohio, to George and Martha (Reimer) Robenalt. On August 4, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart, Jerome Sendelbach. They were married for 72 years. Jerome preceded her in death this past July.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Kristine) Sendelbach of Seattle, WA; daughter, Lori Sendelbach of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, Laura (Corey) Barrett, Daniel Sendelbach, Jack (Chloe) Sendelbach, Joseph Sendelbach, Olivia Sendelbach, Christopher (Jessica) Mohr and Holly (Brian Hall) Mohr; three great grandchildren, Kruse, Maverick and Sloan Mohr; siblings, Janet (Joe) Stefanelli, James (Janet) Robenalt, Elizabeth Wukusick, Paul (Edna) Robenalt, Martha (Ed) Sweeney, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel L. Sendelbach; brother, Fr. Phil Robenalt; sister, Lois Miller; and brothers-in-law Michael Miller and Carl Wukusick.
Mary was a 1947 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She loved being a wife, mother, and homemaker and was an excellent cook and baker. Mary enjoyed taking care of her flower gardens and sitting outside. She was an excellent seamstress and would make bridesmaid dresses, suits and wedding dresses. With her husband, Mary co-owned Sendelbach Upholstery. Mary always had a listening ear as a confidant for her family and loved spending time with her friends, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 P.M. on October 04, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Friday, October 4 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Bridge Hospice Care.
