Mary E. Steinmetz, 54, of Tiffin, died Saturday morning, July 26, 2008, at her residence.

On January 11, 1954, she was born in Tiffin to George J. and Helen E. 'Betty' (Myers) Blust.

Survivors include her mother, Betty, two brothers, George A. Blust, John S. (Rhea) Blust, a sister, Jane (Max) Eddy, all of Tiffin, many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death along with her father is an infant brother, Thomas P. Blust and a sister, Elizabeth A. 'Betsy' Sims.

Mary was a 1972 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was an auxiliary member of Amvets Post 48, DAV #34 and American Legion #169. She worked at Golden Crown for many years and loved being around children and babysitting.

There is no visitation; however graveside services are 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 31, 2008, in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Eric Culler officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
