Mary Belle W. Ferrell, 87, of Vermilion, died Monday morning, December 7, 2009, at Community Health Partners, Lorain.

On September 19, 1922, she was born in Tiffin to Harry and Idella (Weatherholt) Osterwalder. On September 18, 1942, she married Carroll Ferrell.

Survivors include a son, Robert 'Bob' Ferrell of Vermilion, and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Osterwalder of Tiffin and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband, Carroll, is a brother, Bud, and an infant brother.

Mary Belle was a member of Immaculate Conception, Vermilion. She lived in Castalia, Port Clinton and later Vermilion. She loved her dogs, sewing, knitting and traveling in their camper to Alaska. She enjoyed sailing on their sail boat on Lake Erie.

Her Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, December 11, 2009 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424, with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from Noon - 1:00 PM, Friday, December 11, 2009 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home.
