Mary Jo Hensinger, 91, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at her home.

She was born on July 03, 1931, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Walter and Rosetta (Griffin) Yeisley.  In 1962, she married John Hensinger and he preceded her in death in 1996.

Survivors include her sons, Danny (Diane) Keckler and Mike Keckler, both of Tiffin; daughters, Kathy (Michael Terry) McGuire and Jane (Vernon) Terry, both of Tiffin; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, William "Bill" Keckler; daughter, Julie Hoffman; brother, Clifford Yeisley; and sister, Janice Seilheimer.

Mary Jo was a 1949 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and Fremont Beauty Academy.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin Moose Lodge 846, Elks Lodge 94, AmVets Post 48 and the Eagles #402.   Mary Jo was a hard working, ambitious  woman.  She retired at the age of 90 as a caregiver at the Renaissance House.  Prior to that, she worked at Ballreich's and managed the Elks and Tiffin Enterprise.  She loved her animals, playing cards and hosted numerous card parties, especially poker parties.

Her Graveside Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, June 19, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
