Mary E. Zablocki, 93, of Tiffin, passed away Monday afternoon, June 27, 2016 at Elmwood at the Shawhan.

She was born on December 28, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY, to James and Mary (McGee) Conroy. On September 22, 1946, in St. Brigid Church in Brooklyn, NY, she married John P. Zablocki and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1994.

Survivors include two sons, John C. "Jack" Zablocki and Steven M. (Sharon) Zablocki, both of Tiffin; three daughters, Peg (Michael) Fiegelist and Barbara Kiser both of Tiffin and Jean (Chuck) Willoughby of North Andover, Masssachusetts; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael J. "Zeb" Zablocki; three brothers, Frank Conroy, Bill Conroy and James Conroy; two sisters, Eloise Conroy and Jean Stamm; and one grandson.

Mary attended St. Brigid School, spent two years at Queen of All Saints High School and graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in 1941. At the start of World War II, Mary worked for the telephone company in Washington D.C, worked for Spencer Trask, which was a stock market brokerage house on Wall Street, Tiffin Art Metal and later retired as an inspector after 20 years from General Electric. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and their Altar Rosary Society and she enjoyed watching television, playing euchre and bingo.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.
Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
