Obituary

Maryann G. Kerschner-McCue, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 28, 2013 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

She was born on March 9, 1930, in Tiffin, Ohio to Louis A. and Protase A. (House) Walliser. On August 22, 1952, she married Gene Kerschner and he passed away and on July 3, 1999, she married Harry McCue and he passed away.

Survivors include her 3 sisters, Lucille Kerschner of Tiffin, Donna Jean (Robert) Willman of Attica and Patricia (Charles) Schreiner of Wadsworth; step-daughter, Ruth Ann (Greg) Distel of Tiffin; 4 step-sons, Carl D. (Coletta) McCue of Tiffin, Lon D. (Paula) McCue of Radnor, Craig E. (Mary) McCue of Greenwood, IN and Roger W. McCue of Canfield; 11 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and 2 brothers, Richard D. Walliser in 1945 and Clarence L. Walliser in 1983.

Maryann graduated in 1949 from Tiffin Calvert High School and worked at Bazley's Meat Market, Mussors Grocery Store and then retired as a nurse's aide at Mercy Tiffin Hospital after 26 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, March 4, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 7:30 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Calvert Catholic Schools or Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.
